From 31 May to 20 September 2026, the Galerie Schöne Höhe will present
a selection of works by prominent contemporary artists, accompanying the Pirna Sculpture Summer 2026.
Under this year’s theme ‘In Between’, the exhibition will explore
the spaces between opposites, transitions and relationships. The focus is not on fixed states,
but on processes, encounters and areas of tension – between form and dissolution, proximity and distance,
perception and interpretation.
Featuring works by Eva Backofen, Jeff Beer, Katharina Gahlert, Dorothee Haller, Sonja Edle von Hoeßle,
Stanislav Kolíbal, Stefan Nestler, Katja Neubert, Magdaléna Roztočilová, Pavla Sceranková,
Robert Schmidt-Matt and Ludmila Seefried-Matějková.
In collaboration with Kultur- und Tourismusgesellschaft Pirna mbH.
